Where To Play
Alberta Cal Ripken
With a balanced approach to training, practice and competition, Alberta Cal Ripken Performance Program offers players an opportunity to participate in a system designed to help athletes get better, play with like-minded peers at similar ability levels, and still stay primarily within local areas. Players try out and, if selected, will be drafted onto a team.
“With player development at our focal point, our goal is to provide an affordable competitive experience for those who would like to get more out of the game. As a coaching staff, we want to take what we’ve learned through our baseball experiences and pass it on to the kids in order to bring a more competitive baseball culture to Calgary.” - ACR Coaching Staff
Calgary Adrenaline Fastpitch Association
CAFA takes a long term view as to the development of our athletes, recognizing that fastball is a very difficult game to perfect, that athletes develop at different rates, and that it takes years to develop a fastball athlete
